With the end of this project in sight, today was a day for deep reflection. This experience has been more than just building an MVP; it has been about pushing boundaries, adapting to challenges, and discovering valuable insights. Over the past 29 days, what started as a concept has evolved into a functional service prototype, rich with lessons learned along the way.
Key Insights from the Project
1. Research Is the Foundation
If there’s one thing I’d prioritize more in the future, it’s conducting in-depth research on competitors and similar services right at the start. While I made progress quickly, understanding existing solutions, market trends, and client pain points in greater detail would have given me a clearer framework to position the system.
Effective research isn’t just about seeing what’s out there—it’s about identifying what gaps you can fill. Whether it’s pricing strategies, specific features, or user experience, knowing where you stand compared to others is invaluable.
2. Flexibility Enables Growth
This project underscored the importance of pivoting when something isn’t working. The decision to replace the property value estimator with a digital product wasn’t in the original plan, but it was necessary. Flexibility allowed the system to evolve into something more viable, highlighting the need to stay open to change, even late in the process.
3. Modular Development with No-Code and AI Tools
One of the biggest takeaways from this project is the value of building an MVP in a modular format.
- No-code and AI tools made it possible to go from concept to MVP quickly, skipping much of the technical heavy lifting in early stages.
- Modular development allowed individual components—like the chatbot, voice agent, and landing page—to be tested and refined independently.
This approach ensured that even if one element faced delays, the overall project could still move forward.
Technical Lessons Learned
1. Image Generation with AI
Experimenting with tools like MidJourney and Recraft provided a deep appreciation for the versatility of AI-generated visuals. Each tool offers unique benefits:
- Quick placeholders.
- Customizable designs for specific projects.
- High-quality visuals that align with branding goals.
This taught me that the best results often come from testing multiple tools and adapting based on the project’s needs.
2. Chatbot Testing
Chatbots are incredible in their current state, especially with no-code options, but low-code tools offer a significant edge in fine-tuning responses and integrating advanced knowledge bases. This is where the balance between simplicity and control becomes critical for scaling chatbot solutions.
3. Voice Agent Growth
The voice agent platforms I tested are far more impressive than when I first explored this technology a year ago. Tools like VAPI and Synthflow have shown how far natural language understanding has come, and I can only imagine where this technology will be by December 2025.
Personal Growth and Skill Development
This project wasn’t just about building something functional—it was also about personal growth. It pushed me to showcase a range of skills in a dynamic environment:
- Project Management: Balancing tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and multiple moving parts.
- Product Management: Understanding user needs, adapting solutions, and refining the vision as the project unfolded.
- Technology and Marketing: Leveraging cutting-edge tools while presenting a cohesive service to a potential market.
It’s been a journey of growth, and I’m walking away with an even stronger understanding of what it takes to execute a complex, time-sensitive project.
Final Thoughts
This project began on Day 1 as a simple idea to explore the intersection of AI and real estate. Along the way, it became a practical example of how to combine technology, creativity, and adaptability into a cohesive system.
While there’s still room for improvement, the result is something I’m proud of—a functional MVP, a viable service offering, and a showcase of what’s possible when you fully commit to a vision.
Tomorrow, in Day 30, I’ll wrap up this journey, reflecting on the highs and lows, the lessons learned, and where I see opportunities for growth in the future. Stay tuned!
